Rate Alerts
Tell us your travel month and we will email rate news for that month, not every week of the year
The short answer
Orlando resort rate alerts from WorldQuest Orlando Resort are simple: tell us the month you plan to travel and we email rate news for that month, along with new direct offers and seasonal rates. Rates vary by date and popular weeks fill first, so watching one month helps you book at the right time. Unsubscribe whenever you like.

What you get
What is an Orlando resort rate alert?
A rate alert is a note in our system that you are thinking about one month, so the rate news we send you is about that month and not about every week of the year.
You give us your first name, email address, the month and year you are considering and, if you know them, the likely length of stay and suite type. In return you receive:
- Rate news for your travel month. When there is something to tell you about the month you chose, such as a seasonal rate or an offer that applies to those dates, we email you.
- New direct offers. The resort’s offers carry promo codes and are available when you book directly. If a new one appears that fits your dates, you hear about it.
- Seasonal rates and resort news. The resort news, seasonal rates and exclusive offers that go to the resort’s email list.
- An exit whenever you want it. You can change what you receive or unsubscribe from everything at any time on the email preferences page.
What a rate alert is not
It is not a hold on a suite or a rate; only a booking does that. It is not a promise of a set number of emails: if nothing changes for your month, you will not hear from us about it. For live rates on any dates, use check availability.
Why a month
Why does watching one travel month help?
Suite rates vary by date. A night in a school holiday week and a night in a quiet week are not priced the same, and popular weeks fill first because families with fixed school calendars book early. Watching one month means:
- You hear about the right offer at the right time. Plan Ahead & Save (code ADV) gives 20% off stays of three nights or more when you reserve at least six months ahead. If your month is six or more months out, an alert is a reminder to use it before the window closes.
- You can weigh length of stay. Stay Longer & Save (code LOSPRO) takes 20% off four to six nights and 30% off seven or more. If your month allows a longer trip, rate news helps you see what the extra nights cost.
- You step out of the listing-site loop. Most people research Orlando weeks or months before they book, then book wherever they happen to be when they decide. A rate alert keeps the resort’s direct rate, resort fee included, in front of you at that moment.
- You are not guessing at seasons. The table below shows the general shape of an Orlando year.
Month by month
Which months are busier, hotter or wetter?
This is a general planning guide, not a forecast or a crowd calendar. Weather and park attendance vary year to year, so use it to choose which months to set an alert for, then compare live rates in the booking engine.
| Month | School calendar and crowds | Weather to plan around | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | Quieter once the New Year week ends | Cool mornings and evenings; pack layers | Walt Disney World’s marathon weekend brings runners and their families early in the month; EPCOT’s arts festival usually begins |
| February | Busier around Presidents’ Day weekend | Mild and mostly dry | The resort pool is heated through mid-March, so pool afternoons are on |
| March | Spring break crowds build through the month | Warming up; comfortable park days | EPCOT’s flower and garden festival usually opens; spring break dates vary by state, so the busy weeks move |
| April | Spring break and Easter weeks are busy, then it eases | Warm and generally dry | A good month for an alert if your dates are flexible |
| May | Quieter until schools let out at the end of the month | Hot afternoons begin | Memorial Day weekend marks the start of summer travel |
| June | Summer vacation crowds | Hot and humid; afternoon showers are common | Hurricane season has begun; plan park mornings and pool afternoons |
| July | Peak summer | Hot, humid, regular afternoon storms | Independence Day week is busy; the suite’s kitchen and the pool earn their keep on rest days |
| August | Busy early, quieter as schools go back | Hot and humid; storms continue | EPCOT’s food and wine festival season usually starts in late summer; watch for late-summer rates |
| September | One of the quieter stretches | Still hot; the wettest part of hurricane season | A month to watch if you can travel without a school calendar |
| October | Steady, busier on weekends and around fall breaks | Humidity eases toward the end of the month | Halloween events at the parks; the resort pool heating begins mid-month |
| November | Quiet early, busy over Thanksgiving week | Pleasant; hurricane season winds down | Holiday decorations and EPCOT’s holiday festival usually begin after Thanksgiving |
| December | Quieter early, very busy from Christmas to New Year | Cool evenings, mostly dry | Christmas at the parks; book early and use ADV if you are six months out |
Race weekends, EPCOT festival dates and park events are set by the parks and change each year. Check the parks’ own announcements before you fix dates, and set an alert so rate news arrives while you decide.
Offers
How does a rate alert fit with the resort’s offers?
Every offer below is published by the resort, carries a promo code and is available when you book with us directly. A rate alert tells you when one lines up with your month. The codes work today; you do not need to wait for an email.

| Stay Longer & Save Up To 30% | LOSPRO | Four to six nights save 20%; seven or more nights save 30% on accommodation | You could stretch the trip by a night or two |
| Experience The Magic | MAGIC15 | Save 15% and add complimentary park transportation when you book two nights or more | A short park-focused trip in any month |
| FL/GA Resident Perks | FLORID | Florida and Georgia residents save 20% on every stay; bring valid identification to check-in | You live in Florida or Georgia and can travel in quieter months |
| Senior Special Rate | SR65 | Guests aged 60 and over save 15%; book direct and bring valid photo ID to check-in | Any month; pairs well with quieter weeks |
| Salute to the Heroes | HEROES | Active and retired military personnel and first responders receive 15% off a stay | Any month |
| AAA/CAA Member Special | LOSAAA | AAA members save 15%; stays of five nights or longer receive a larger discount | Longer trips in any month |
| Weekday rates | None published | Rates vary by night and by date; compare dates in the booking engine | You can arrive midweek and want to see how the nights compare |
Each offer has its own terms on its page, and the reservations team on (407) 387-3800 can confirm which one applies to your dates.

Questions guests ask
Rate alert questions
Will you email me every time a rate changes?
No, and we do not promise a set number of emails. You receive rate news for your travel month when there is something worth telling you, such as a seasonal rate or a new direct offer for those dates, plus the resort’s regular news and exclusive offers.
Does a rate alert hold a suite or lock in a rate?
No. An alert only tells us which month to send news about. Suites and rates are held by a reservation, made in the resort’s booking engine or with the reservations team on (407) 387-3800. If you see a rate you like, book it; the alert can keep running.
Can I set alerts for more than one month?
Yes. Submit the form once for each month you are weighing, for example March and April if your spring break dates are not fixed yet. Or email wqreservations@worldquestorlando.com and the reservations team can note the months for you.
I have already booked. Is an alert still useful?
It can be. Rate news for your month still arrives, and if you spot something that would change your plans, contact the reservations team with your confirmation number. Terms for changing an existing booking are confirmed by the team, not by this page.
Is a rate alert the same as the lower rate review?
No. A rate alert is email about your travel month. The lower rate review is for guests who have found a lower rate for the same suite and dates elsewhere and want the resort to look at it; it has its own page and form. You can use both.
Will you send alerts by text message?
No. The rate alert form collects only your name, email address and travel details, so alerts arrive by email. The resort sends occasional offers by text only to guests who give a mobile number and ask for texts, which you can do on the email preferences page.
How do I stop rate alerts?
Go to the email preferences page, enter the email address on our list and choose what you want to receive, or tick the box to unsubscribe from everything. Changes take a few days to reach every mailing.
